We manufacture our Sealed Tabletop Artifact Case with archival materials and microclimate capability. At SmallCorp, we have standard designs, but we do not have standard sizes. We manufacture each case to your size requirements. This means each case is made to meet your specific needs.
The Sealed Tabletop Artifact Case comes with a powdercoated aluminum collar. We offer a variety of archival deck options. Our standard ODP deck consists of dibond and aluminum, wrapped in fabric. Another offering, our ethadeck, uses the ODP deck as a base and includes a layer of pinnable ethafoam beneath the fabric. Finally, we make object decks out of HDPE, expanded PVC and other materials. We offer standard fabrics or we can work with those that you specify. The interior of the case and silica gel compartment are fabricated from archival materials.
SmallCorp is well-known for the quality of our acrylic vitrines. We manufacture museum quality acrylic vitrines from clear and UV filtering acrylic, and from Optium Museum Acrylic. With this case, you lift the vitrine to access your object. When applicable, we install an archival gasket. The vitrine rests on this gasket. When the vitrine is locked, the gasket is compressed. The result is a sealed environment inside the case.
Silica Gel Access
The sealed tabletop artifact case comes with a silica gel access port. As a result, you can service the silica gel without disturbing the artifact. The gel access door locks with security screws.
