Hoyt Wood – Managing Director
Hoyt oversees day-to-day SmallCorp management, which includes everything from exhibit case design to facility management. Hoyt grew up in “the shop” and has spent more than 30 years at Small Corp. He has done every job in the plant. In fact, he helped build the current facility.
Wendy Sawyer – Sales Manager
Wendy specializes in complex framing projects, textile conservation projects and one of a kind display cases. Wendy is a graduate of Rhode Island School of Design who joined SmallCorp in 1995.
Mike Dunphy – Sales and Marketing Manager
Mike works on large projects including specialized display case design and manufacturing. He’s also in charge of sales and marketing. Mike’s background includes managing complex, nationwide projects on tight timeframes.
Sarah Anderson – Inside Sales
Sarah is our front line customer service representative and freight specialist. She has a wealth of experience in manufacturing, customer service and freight management. She helps everyone, but her primary focus is picture framers, galleries and artists.
Jennifer Austin – Business Manager
Hoyt’s wife and partner-in-crime, Jen is on her second tour of duty at SmallCorp. She handles purchasing, HR, day-to-day management, and anything else that comes up.
Frank Degnen – Accounting Manager
Frank manages the day-to-day accounting, payroll, and supplies purchasing, and applies his talents to all aspects of SmallCorp management, including the programming of our ERP system.
Kevin Kearns – Production Manager
Kevin oversees the manufacturing floor and is responsible for scheduling, quality control and on-time shipping.
Josh Flagg – Industrial Designer/Drafter
Josh is our multi-talented head of design and drafting, and is responsible for product design and close collaboration with our craftspeople.
Van Wood – President
Van is semi-retired, but he remains the SmallCorp innovator. You’ll find him in his workroom, developing and testing our next innovative product.
Molly Wood – General Manager
Molly is semi-retired also. She still spends a fair amount of time at SmallCorp, but she also sits on the board of directors for the United Way of Franklin County and volunteers in the community whenever possible.
