Today we delivered 16 cases and pedestals to the Wadsworth Atheneum in Hartford, for the freshly renovated Goodwin Gallery. Over the next several months, we’ll deliver another 120+ cases and pedestals as the museum plans for a Fall 2015 grand re-opening.
Thanks to everyone who stopped off and visited us at the New England Museum Association annual meeting Nov 19-21 in Cambridge, MA. The conference was a great success and we are proud to be members of such an active and passionate community.
We recently replaced the high-security glass in the case that houses Harvard’s Gutenberg Bible. The glass had become filmy over time and we replaced it with brand new glazing that includes an anti-reflective coating and alternating layers of low iron glass and polycarbonate for security.
We recently shipped a batch of cases to the Tufts University Art Gallery to house items from their permanent collection.
