Component 1:
Our COVERS or vitrines, are made of 1/4" clear acrylic or UV filtering acrylic. All joints are bubble-free. Unless otherwise specified, covers are made to exact inside dimensions and have no screw holes.

Component 2:
For table-top use, we offer several BASES. A step-base is available in either acrylic or Medex (low formaldehyde wood panel). For a base with a channel for the cover, we offer an aluminum surround with an insert. The aluminum surround is typically powdercoated, but may also be covered with a wood cap.

Component 3:
PEDESTALS are custom made to your dimensions. They are available with a veneer or laminate finish. A kick space is optional. The top may be flat for sculpture, stepped for a flush fitting cover or made with an insert to create a channel for a cover. Our customer representatives can discuss various options with you to create the final design.

Component 4:
The welded aluminum TEXT RAIL and insert may be used with either a table-top base or a pedestal. The aluminum is powdercoated for durability as well as providing a reusable surface for signage. Typical materials for inserts are solid panels with laminate surface, archival support panels, acrylic or linen covered deck.

The FLAT CASE made by SmallCorp is another display case option. The base is a powdercoated aluminum table with detachable legs. This feature makes the flat case ideal for traveling shows as well as permanent exhibitions. The insert or display surface can be a solid Medex panel or an archival support panel. This display may also be ordered as a sealed display case (see below). Like all our display systems, the Flat Case can be customized to meet your specific design, display and conservation requirements. Security hardware is available.

For a more permanent display, SmallCorp offers a FLOOR CASE. The case is made of Medex (low formaldehyde panels) with laminate or veneer finishes. Options include UV filtering acrylic, lighting, shelves and supports and security hardware.

WALL CASES are custom made to your size and finish. They are comprised of two parts: a 1/4" clear acrylic cover in regular or UV filtering material and a wall support. Two pieces of Medex are joined to form an "L" shape bottom and back. The bottom deck has a welded aluminum border to capture the lower edge of the cover. The top edge of the cover is secured with one or more screws, as appropriate. The unit hangs flush on the wall with an internal cleat on the back surface.

Stock case finish is black or white laminate. The aluminum surround is powdercoated to match or capped with a wood moulding trim. Other colors as well as laminated wood veneers are available. Interior supports or stands can be provided (see Archival Supports.) Security hardware is available.

SmallCorp has developed standard designs for SEALED DISPLAY CASES AND FRAMES. The cases are made to meet your conservation and display requirements and are available as a wall mounted frame or a display cover fitted to a pedestal.

The sealed display cases feature silicone gasketing, compartments for conditioning media and a bladder to accommodate changes in barometric pressure. Both options have a powdercoated aluminum frame with an aluminum honeycomb support panel.

The sealed display frame can be provided with exterior adjustable screws for pressure mounting. It can be glazed with acrylic, glass or Lexan. It mounts to the wall with an integral aluminum cleat.

The sealed display case has a 1/4" clear acrylic cover (or vitrine) on a base or pedestal. There is a wood or powdercoated aluminum collar to cover the mounting flanges and access to the conditioning media.
